Description

The Itxina room is a cozy 19 m² double room with a private bathroom, facing the majestic Gorbea, the most emblematic peak in the Basque Country. Its name refers to Itxina, a karst submass of great natural value (340 m), declared a Protected Biotope in 1995. This enclave represents the essence of the Gorbeia Natural Park: a territory where nature and mythology coexist to create a magical landscape, full of stories, legends, and corners of extraordinary beauty.

The room pays homage to this unique setting with a very special cultural touch: the popular zortziko, composed by R. Urquijo in 1915, and the presence of a trikitixa, the traditional Basque instrument that accompanies so many popular celebrations. All of this makes this space a warm and characterful place, ideal for relaxing after a day of excursions or simply for enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.
